Thanksgiving Weekend
It's been a busy weekend but it's gone by so fast. For Thanksgiving we spent the morning at Cory's parents house and ate with them, then around 2:00 PM we headed over to Sweet Cakes and helped feed kids from the child crisis center with my family. Then, the rest of the day we just relaxed which was really nice. Friday we got up around 7:00 AM and decided to go shopping so we went to Staples, Walmart, Walgreens, and Home Depot. Surprisingly, it wasn't very busy at all. I expected that it would be chaos but it was just like any other busy Saturday, so that was nice because we were able to get some Christmas shopping taken care of. Later that day we went to my second cousin's baby shower at the Rockin R Ranch. Saturday morning we got together with Cory's family and took family pics at the temple. Overall, it's been a busy but good weekend. Now I feel a cold coming on so I'm going to go eat some soup and rest.

Time and All Eternity
Today Cory and I went to the sealing of Joe and Rose Bean. It was really neat. She just got here from Brazil a couple weeks ago and last night we went to her endowment and today we went to their sealing. I love going to sealings. I just love to hear the ceremony again and think back to when Cory and I were sitting in that chair and all the thoughts and feelings I had. It's crazy to think that it's been over a year...it feels like it was just yesterday that we were sitting in that room, speaking with the sealer and thinking to ourselves "holy cow, we just got married". I remember how it was so overwhelming but at the same time so reassuring. That was one of the best feelings I've ever felt. I imagine I will feel something similar when we decide to start our family...luckily, I have a few years before that comes:)

Happy Anniversary
Cory and I had our one year anniversary yesterday. So, to celebrate, we went to Disneyland for the weekend. Cory had never been before so it was especially fun. Dano and Linds went too and it was nice to get to just hang out the four of us. Since Linds is prego we got a wheel chair for her and were able to get bumped up to the front of the line. It really wasn't that busy to begin with, but it was nice not having to wait in line. There was a lot of smoke and ash from the California wildfires, so that was kind of a downer, but other than that it was a really fun trip. Also, last week, Cory and I set up our Christmas tree. I love Christmas and so does Cory, so we wanted to make sure we got as much out of the holiday decorations as possible. This week our goal is to get our lights set up outside. We want to try and get them up before Thanksgiving so we'll see how that goes.

A Western Wedding
Yesterday we went to my cousin Mindy's wedding. It was out at this old ghost town my uncle built in Queen Creek. It was a Disney themed wedding but with a country twist. We all had a pretty good time considering we were the only ones not smoking and enjoying the bar:) It's a cool little town that he's built. My grandma got a kick out of showing us all kinds of old stuff like her grandpa's old stove or her old wagon from when she was a kid. Overall a pretty good time. Definitely my cousin Mindy's kind of wedding.

My First Blogging Experience
Well, I decided to create a blog. I figure it'd be a more grown-up version of myspace or facebook. Heather told me about hers so I decided it'd be a good thing to start. I don't really have anything to say...except it is election day so make sure you vote Yes on 102:)
