finally, a nice little vacation

So this past week we were able to go to Colorado to visit my uncle, aunt, and cousins. It was a much needed vacation from our hectic lives. Dano, Cory, and I flew in last Friday and the rest of my family drove up and met us on Monday. We spent some time at my uncle's place in Grand Junction, spent a day in Ouray at the hot springs, shopped in Breckenridge, and had a few days to relax at their cabin near Fariplay. All in all it was a very relaxing trip. Here are some pics of our week...

We went to a block party that was in their friend's neighborhood. It was so chill. There was music, food, and lots of nice people.

We also got to go over to my Aunt Linda's for Sunday dinner. It was so much fun to visit with her. Here we are on her balcony eating dinner.

Here's Taylor making us all bannana splits for dessert.

Here we are up on the rim from our drive to Ouray

The boys got to go fishing while we were there

When we were in Breckenridge, Cory and I ate at this place called Rasta Pasta. It was so yum!

The day before we left we went to this old little museum-type town called South Park.

Dano told the kids that Yettis lived up in the mountains. When we were at South Park we told them that this was a Yetti skin. Here is will punching it out to show he's not scared.

Everywhere we went Jake was jerkin'. He would just put on those headphones and dance like there was no one else around. It was pretty bad-a.
