Snow Day, Mesa Style

Cory has been going up to Flagstaff each week for a job they are working on up there. There has been tons of snow up north so this past week he brought back an ice chest full of snow for us to play in. I know, not a real snow day, but as close as we can get here in sunny Mesa. Kenna and Kai were so excited but I think Cory had more fun than they did. Sam and my Dad even got into it when they got home. It's amazing how much fun you can have trying to pelt the ones you love with fistfulls of icy crystals. Good times!

I don't think Kai knew that was coming!

But he LOVED it all the same!

This picture really says a lot about the man I love...Kenna is running in terror and he looks way too happy to be getting her with that snow. Haha! She actually really did like it though...even though I don't think this picture shows that.

Ring-A-Ding-Ding

My little brother Sam has taken the plunge and is now engaged to Nicole Selk. We are so excited for them and so happy to welcome Nicole into our family. The big day is March 12th and we can hardly wait! Congrats you guys!

Happy Birthday Mam Sue!

Monday was my mom's birthday so we all got together for dinner. It was fun to be able to visit with everyone and just enjoy some time together. We went to Texas Roadhouse and even though we weren't able to get her to jump on the saddle and ring the bell, we did manage to get a great birthday balloon hat on her head. We love you Mom!

back into the swing of things

It is sad to get back to reality after the past couple months of holiday bliss. School started back up again so now 2/5 nights each week I am without my Corylicious. However, it also means my favorite shows start up again, which I am definitely excited about.

On Sunday night we celebrated my father-in-law's birthday. It was fun to get together and BBQ with the whole family.

Then, on Monday, we had Cory's best buddy Lance come over so we could celebrate his birthday. We all had some yummy pizza and more yummy cake!

Oh Mexico!

This week, twelve of us packed into the super dog silver van and headed down to Mexico for some much needed sun and relaxation. It'd been months since Cory and I had gone and it was so good to be back there again. Yummy food, a little tan, time to catch up on some reading, and fun people. It was a great week and we wish we could've stayed longer but the real world was calling us back. Here are some pics from our week.

Mary's at the fish market...a must stop for our crew

Pollo Lucas...another favorite dining spot

Kenna chugging a manzanita...it's a little scary how good she was at that. Haha!

Shreeve Family Christmas

This year for Christmas my Uncle John, Aunt Tracy, and cousins came to visit. It was so much fun to have them in town and to get to spend some time with them. Since Sam got home on Christmas night, we all celebrated Christmas on the 26th so we could celebrate with him. It was a fantastic Christmas!

Time for presents!

Cami got just what (or who) she wanted for Christmas. Haha!

Dad on the other hand, got the gift that keeps on giving...a chicken!

We also had a chance to go see the temple lights with our cousins
